Opportunities Niagara is a community-based partnership of service providers, non-profit organizations, businesses, governments and individuals who want to reduce poverty in Niagara and improve the quality of life in our community.

As part of the Vibrant Communities partnership, we link together with 15 communities from British Columbia to Newfoundland in a collective effort to test the most effective ways to reduce poverty at the grassroots level.

Under the auspices of Community Care, we have been working to improve the quality of life for residents in our communities. Now change is in the air!  We have been granted Charitable non-profit status Federally and Provincially. With the proposed changes to our Governance Structure, we believe the original elements of the Leadership Roundtable can be honored.  The experience of poverty does not have to be a life sentence.  
Our first Annual General Meeting is scheduled for June 21st, 2007. We will have an opportunity to celebrate past accomplishments and welcome new changes.
